Welcome to BizzStream Aero: Unlocking Efficiency and Agility
BizzStream Aero is a powerful low code platform designed to revolutionize business process automation, offering an intuitive and agile environment for organizations to streamline their operations. In today's fast-paced business landscape, efficiency and agility are key to staying ahead of the competition. With BizzStream Aero, you can unlock the potential to automate and optimize your processes, saving valuable time and resources.
Documents in BizzStream Aero
Documents play a crucial role in BizzStream Aero as they store and represent sets of information within the platform's database. In simple terms, any input, activity, or output associated with a process is represented by a document. These documents serve as structured collections of specific types of information, allowing for efficient data management and processing.
Example:
An employee registering project costs to a cost overview will be working with a project document that utilizes information from other related documents. A process usually consists of one or more documents that are related to each other, enabling the exchange of information and the establishment of connections between documents.
Simplified Process Modeling
At the heart of BizzStream Aero lie its robust process modeling capabilities. Administrators and consultants can effortlessly define and configure automated processes to mimic their non-digital counterparts. Whether it's cost registrations, timesheets, waste management, or purchase invoice processing, BizzStream Aero enables you to seamlessly digitize and automate these workflows.
Intuitive End User Experience
BizzStream Aero provides a user-friendly interface for end users, ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience. End users can access the platform via a web browser or the mobile app for iOS and Android. With access to one or multiple environments, they can view, add, modify, or delete data within the defined model. The platform's mobile capabilities enable users to stay productive on the go, contributing to enhanced efficiency and flexibility.
Setup Section: Empowering Model Creation and Configuration
The setup section in BizzStream Aero serves as a central hub for administrators and consultants to create and configure the model according to the organization's specific needs. It provides a comprehensive set of tools and functionalities to define setup entities, including document definitions, layouts, menus, scripts, user groups, templates, environment settings, configuration, and logging. By leveraging the setup section, you can tailor the platform to match your organization's unique requirements and drive operational efficiency.
You can open the setup section by clicking the Gear icon in the top right corner.
Document Definitions
Within the setup section, administrators and consultants can create document definitions that define the structure and properties of different types of documents within the system. Document definitions capture essential information such as fields, line blocks, statuses, access groups, and workflows, providing a foundation for the automated processes.
Layouts and Menus
Layouts and menus are crucial components in delivering an optimized user experience. Administrators and consultants can design layouts to visualize and present data to end users in a user-friendly manner. Meanwhile, menus allow for seamless navigation and accessibility to various sections and functionalities of the platform.
Scripts
The setup section also includes the capability to create and manage scripts, which enable the execution of customized actions and logic within the platform. Scripts can automate complex tasks, perform calculations, or integrate with external systems to enhance the platform's functionality.
User Groups
User groups serve as a way to group users within BizzStream Aero, providing a convenient means of organizing users for various purposes. For example, user groups can be used to assign menus to a group of users or determine the permissions for that user group by adding it to an access group. User groups help streamline user management and access control within the platform.
Templates
Templates in BizzStream Aero are used to store and represent BizzStream document information in a PDF format. They can be designed to capture specific data from the system and generate customized PDF documents. Templates are highly flexible and can be utilized for communication purposes outside of the platform, such as creating email bodies or generating PDF documents for sharing with external stakeholders.
Environment Settings and Configuration
In the setup section, administrators and consultants can configure environment-specific settings and preferences to tailor the platform to the organization's needs. This includes customizing themes, defining default information, and managing other environment-specific configurations.
Logging and Monitoring
To ensure transparency and traceability, the setup section provides logging and monitoring capabilities. Administrators and consultants can access logs to track activities, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot any potential issues effectively.
By leveraging the powerful tools and functionalities within the setup section, administrators and consultants can create a tailored model, define setup entities, and configure the platform to meet the unique requirements of their organization. This empowers them to optimize processes, enhance user experience, and drive operational efficiency.
User Types in BizzStream Aero
In BizzStream Aero, we have different types of users, each with specific roles and access levels within the platform. Understanding these user types will help you navigate and utilize the platform effectively. Let's explore the different user types:
End Users
End users are the primary users of the platform who interact with the system to perform their tasks. They have access to the end user section of the platform, where they can log in using a web browser or the mobile app for iOS or Android. End users typically have access to one or multiple environments, depending on their organization or customer.
Within an environment, end users can view, add, modify, or delete data based on the model configured by administrators or consultants. The data available to end users is determined within the model, which resembles the non-digital processes that the platform automates and digitizes. Examples of processes modeled in BizzStream Aero include cost registrations, timesheets, waste management, and purchase invoice processing.
End users participate in the processes by adding data to the platform or signing off on data provided by other users. If end users have questions about the model or the process itself, they can seek answers within their organization or consult with a BizzStream consultant. For platform-specific inquiries, such as how to navigate a grid control using the keyboard, end users can refer to the documentation.
Administrators
Administrators have elevated privileges within BizzStream Aero. In addition to accessing the end user section, administrators also have access to the setup section. This allows them to make changes to the model and configure various aspects of the platform.
Within the setup section, administrators can modify layouts to enhance user experience, extend the model to collect additional information, and manage user permissions and access rights. Administrators can also view usage statistics for the environment, such as the number of created and edited documents. User management is another important task that administrators handle from the setup section.
Consultants
Consultants have similar privileges to administrators but with additional capabilities. They can access both the end user section and the setup section of BizzStream Aero. Additionally, consultants have access to the partner console, which provides them with a centralized view of all environments associated with the partner they work for.
From the partner console, consultants can access environments without being a user within those environments by impersonating other users. They can create new organizations, develop packages, and create new package versions. In the setup section, consultants have the ability to install packages or updates to existing packages.
BizzStream Support Users
BizzStream support users have the same privileges as consultants. However, the key difference is that they are not bound to a specific partner. A BizzStream support user can access environments from all partners through the partner console. This broader access allows them to provide support and assistance across multiple partner environments.
User Role | Access Level | Key Capabilities |
---|---|---|
End Users | Limited access to end user section | View, add, modify, and delete data based on model configuration |
Administrators | Access to both end user and setup sections | Modify model, configure layouts, manage users and permissions |
Consultants | Access to end user, setup, and partner console sections | Impersonate users, create organizations, develop packages |
BizzStream Support Users | Access to end user, setup, and partner console sections | Support across all partner environments, broader access |
Understanding the roles and access levels of each user type in BizzStream Aero is crucial for effective collaboration and utilization of the platform. Whether you're an end user, administrator, consultant, or BizzStream support user, knowing your capabilities within the platform will empower you to maximize its potential.
