Partner Console: Empowering Consultants in BizzStream Aero

The Partner Console in BizzStream Aero provides consultants and BizzStream developers with enhanced capabilities and a comprehensive overview that extends beyond the standard user interface. This exclusive environment ensures a secure and focused platform for managing and supporting BizzStream solutions.

Who Has Access?

Access to the Partner Console is restricted to BizzStream developers and authorized consultants affiliated with Van Meijel.

  • BizzStream Developers: With a mandate to support, BizzStream developers wield the ability to view all environments in the database, ensuring comprehensive assistance.

  • Consultants: Partner consultants, the backbone of many implementations, can elevate their access by requesting the addition of the Partner ID property to their profile. Armed with this property, they gain visibility into environments tagged with the same partner ID.

The Partner Console (also referred to as the Support Console) offers several key subsections for consultants:

Organizations

This section empowers consultants to add new organizations to BizzStream. Typically, this action aligns with the setup process for a new customer in BizzStream.

  • Creation and Management: Users can create organizations and associate environments with them. However, the overview is tailored, displaying only organizations linked to the consultant's partner ID.

  • Administrative Control: Initiators of an organization are automatically designated as organization administrators. Additional administrators can be appointed from a pool comprising BizzStream developers, consultants, and existing users within the environment.

Directory Services

Create Directory Services to delegate user management to external identity providers. All necessary information for external user integration is stored within a directory service.

Users

Here, a comprehensive view of all users within the selected environment unfolds. Depending on the environment settings, consultants may have the ability to impersonate users, a feature subject to the 'Allow Support Partners to Impersonate Users' setting in the environment page.

  • Impersonation Dynamics: The capability to impersonate is a powerful tool. For partner consultants, it hinges on the configuration setting mentioned above. BizzStream developers, too, are bound by a similar setting, ensuring controlled access.

  • Note on Impersonation: It's noteworthy that impersonation can also be initiated from the users overview within the setup section.

Packages

In this section, consultants embark on the journey of creating new packages and package versions, all rooted in the entities of the selected environment.

  • Package Distribution: Once a package version materializes, it seamlessly integrates into the marketplace within the setup section. Environments sharing the same partner ID gain access to this package, with the exception of the environment where it originated.

Installing/Updating Packages

The Marketplace serves as the central location for all environments sharing the source package's Partner ID. Both consultants and BizzStream developers can install and update packages from here.
